The Houston Methodist Hospital and Buffalo ADent Neurological Institute and Roswell Park Cancer Institute has an agreement with the four Hungarian medical universities to provide a 12-week placement for medical students in their 6th year (you must apply for the programme in year 5).
Rotations start four times a year. The exact dates are set by the HMAA at the beginning of the year (shortly after the interview). A total of 12 students can participate (12 students 3 weeks/week).
The aim of the programmes is to facilitate exchanges of medical students and to increase experience and knowledge between the medical schools involved. Through this programme, the HMAA enables students to develop their medical knowledge and build long-term professional relationships, which will contribute to better healthcare in Hungary.
