The Hungarian Medical Association of America-Hungary (HMAA-HC) is organizing its summer conference for undergraduate students (medical, dental, pharmacy), residents, doctoral students and specialists. During the conference, Hungarian medical students and young doctors will have the opportunity to learn about the HMAA Buffalo-Houston exchange programme (open to sixth-year students) and meet students who have already participated in the programme. You will also have the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures given by former and current fellows, as well as renowned Hungarian and foreign doctors and professors. The friendly atmosphere of this multidisciplinary conference is a great opportunity for medical students to have informal discussions with professors and doctors working in the United States. Presentations in English and Hungarian will be available at the conference. The best presentations will receive valuable prizes from the HMAA. The best presentation in English will be awarded the Ivan Krisztinicz Prize offered by the HMAA, and the winner will be invited to attend the annual HMAA conference in Sarasota, FL, USA, sponsored by the HMAA. The best presentation in Hungarian will be given by id. Istvan Mechter Prize. Best presentations in each field\/section will also be awarded (e.g. best presentation in neurology\/surgery). The 2024 conference will be organized in the traditional way with personal attendance. If the epidemiological situation in September 2024 does not allow face-to-face attendance, the conference will be held online. This year the conference will be an innovative and interactive event, taking place at a new venue in V\u00e1rggestes, at the Villapark in V\u00e1rggestes (https:\/\/www.villapark.hu\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Registration and abstract submission for our 2024 conference will be done simultaneously.
A presenter may submit one abstract in English only (the formal requirements for abstracts are available by scrolling down).<\/p>\n

For HMAA members: 49 900 HUF<\/p>\n

Non HMAA members: 65 000 HUF<\/p>\n

The registration fee includes participation in the conference, conference gift package, 1 night accommodation (details below), lunch on Thursday and Friday, gala dinner on Friday.
It is also possible to attend the conference without a presentation, but in this case you will still need to register for a full registration, given the location and the accommodation and meals included in the registration fee. The same applies to accompanying persons.<\/p>\n

How to register:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

After redeeming your HMAA membership, we will send new members a one-time-use coupon code (\"membership code\") by email, which you will be able to redeem upon registration to pay the discounted registration fee.
Students supported by the four medical universities will receive a single-use voucher code (\"registration code\") from their local TDT after receiving the grant, which will be used to waive the discounted registration fee for HMAA members who are already active members at the time of registration. So in this case, the system will require 2 coupon codes. We can accept one registration per email address. It is possible to save the registration form temporarily, and the system will send an email to the registrant. The registration can be continued and finalised by clicking on the link sent in the email.

<\/u><\/b>- From Tatab\u00e1nya railway station you can take bus 8441 to the park, which drops you off directly in front of the entrance of our accommodation.
- For Friday (09.06.) night accommodation is provided in Comfort Plus Apartments - 4 double rooms\/apartments.
- There is a small grocery store nearby, and refrigerators are available in the kitchens to store breakfast ingredients. Lunch and dinner are included in the registration fee.
